Calendar

We've created separate pages for you to display league meetings and trainings, but you may want to show all league events on the one page. On this page you could display a concise list of major calendar events and important dates for the season, such as the following example:

  • June 12- conway meet
  • June 19 – Belle Plaine Meet
  • June 26 – Mulvane Meet
  • July 10 – league at clearwater

Alternative Ways to Display Your Calendar

  • Use this page to post your full league swim meet schedule for the season.
  • Display your calendar in a table format.
  • Use and integrate a public Google calendar so a traditional, grid view, calendar displays here. See this Help Center article about how to embed a Google calendar.
  • Use the SwimTopia "Schedule" feature. See below

Using the Built-In "Schedule" Feature

All SwimTopia websites have a page that automatically displays swim meets and events; and for teams, this page is used to manage meet and job signups and file attachments related to events, such as heat sheets and results. In this website that page is titled "Swim Meets" and is currently set to be hidden from navigation. Events set up using the "Schedule" function (Manage Team > Schedule) display on the "Swim Meets" page.

Leagues are welcome to use their "Swim Meets" page if they do have events they want people to sign up for. For now we have hidden the "Swim Meets" page on your league website, as we don't expect you to have signups occurring through your site and the page produces a 'list view' of the swim meets, which would get very long if you have a big league, with multiple meets happening on the same date.

Leagues Where All the Teams Use SwimTopia

For leagues where ALL teams have adopted SwimTopia, you're likely to want to use the functionality of your "Swim Meets" page. You can provide the SwimTopia Customer Happiness Team with your dual meet schedule in an excel format, and we can import it into the Schedule section of your league site. We can then "push" the dual meets down to the applicable SwimTopia websites of all your teams. This not only makes season setup of meets very easy for your teams, with no margin for individual team error, it also allows the league to utilize the "Division Standings" snippet, which will automatically populate the Win/Loss records of all your teams, based on the meet results each team uploads each week. Please contact our Customer Happiness Team for more information on using our league-wide calendar and division standings functionality: [email protected]

Full Width Template – Footer

This page uses the "Full Width Template", which uses the Full Width Layout (footer only, no sidebar). Some pages look better if the page content is spread out across the screen and doesn't have to share space with a sidebar.

Some teams use their footers to include sponsor logos, contact information, and league information, and more; while some teams leave their footers empty.

The footer content you place here will show up on all pages that are assigned the "Full Width Template." You can create custom templates and assign them to various pages. Read more about templates in our Help Center article here.
